FC Bayern Munich is a German football club and tends to be the top football and sports team in the country. Visit Rwanda is a tourism promotion slogan that Rwanda has embarked on to market ecotours in the country. Therefore, the club and the ministry of tourism in Rwanda on the behalf of the government has entered a new partnership with the move of promoting the local football sports for men and women and at the same time to highly promote ecotourism to the other side of Europe after the old signings that this country has done before with Arsenal FC and PSG France – German club.
Before, the country signed a partnership with Arsenal FC and with the logo “Visit Rwanda” on the harm sleeve of the club’s jersey and on the advert screens in the pitch. After one year of this signing again Rwanda took another promotional partnership with PSG and here Rwanda started promoting Rwanda coffee within the PSG France – German matches.
It is believed that when Rwanda started such collaboration with the international football teams like Arsenal FC so many international chain hotels have found space to set investments in the tourism sector to offer luxury services to the high end top officials of these clubs and other luxury travelers that have found Rwanda as a new luxury safari destination to visit.
Among the hotels include Singita, One & Only Resorts and the Wilderness Destinations that today is managing 03 premium lodges like Wilderness Bisate, Sabyinyo and Magashi Camp in Volcanoes and Akagera National Parks respectively.
Again, on Sunday 27th August 2023 Rwanda announced the signing of a five-year partnership with the top German club Bayern Munich to promote tourism in the East Africa and set up a football academy and from this the country expect to have positive development of Rwanda football talents in the younger generation. Therefore, from our source we expect Rwanda to take on another level of development in the sports and the tourism industry.
